Conversations about Change & Motivation to Change
Training and consultation for school counselors, administrators, and educators.
Inviting Change. Inspiring Achievement.
We help school counselors, administrators, and educators transform the way they approach motivation and change. Rather than simply asking students or staff to change, we teach practical strategies for inviting them to discover their own reasons for change—and build the confidence, commitment, and skills to move forward. Through interactive, skill-building training grounded in motivational approaches, we equip school professionals to engage students and adults in meaningful conversations, strengthen academic motivation, navigate resistance, and create the conditions for people to become their best selves. The result is a more collaborative approach to change that builds ownership, strengthens relationships, and supports improved outcomes for students, staff, and school communities.
Our trainers bring decades of combined experience in school counseling, counselor education, mental health, and motivational interviewing. Kathy Biles, Ph.D., is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers and has facilitated workshops nationwide. Gene Eakin, Ph.D., brings firsthand experience as a high school counselor and counselor educator, applying motivational strategies with students facing academic challenges. Erica Parrish, LSC, LCPC, Ph.D. Candidate, combines experience as a school counselor, therapist, counselor educator, and professional leader to help educators and school communities create meaningful, lasting change through practical, research-informed strategies.
